What is Aether?
Aether helps you understand your daily wellbeing patterns, build healthspan habits, track goals and review trends over time.
Aether is for wellness and education only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Account and Cloud Backup
Do I need an account to use Aether?
You can use Aether without Cloud Backup, but your data will remain stored locally on your device.
If you create an account, Aether can securely back up selected app data so you can restore it later if you reinstall the app or use another device.
What is Cloud Backup?
Cloud Backup saves selected Aether data to your account, including things like your profile, goals, check-ins, supplements, biomarkers, simulations and app settings.
Cloud Backup is optional.

Apple Health
Why does Aether ask for Apple Health access?
Aether can use Apple Health data, such as steps, sleep, heart rate, HRV, workouts and VO2 max, to personalise your dashboard, baseline, movement context and weekly trends.
Aether only accesses the Apple Health categories you choose to allow.
Can I turn off Apple Health access?
Yes. You can change Apple Health permissions at any time in your iPhone settings:

Notifications
Why does Aether ask for notification permission?
Aether can send reminders for things like:
- Logging Today’s Signals
- Completing goal actions
- Reviewing your week
You can turn reminders off at any time in the app or in your iPhone notification settings.

Can I delete or export my data?
Aether includes local data controls inside the app. Go to:
